BIOGRAPHY

After living in Paris, France for fifteen years, Ann returned to California, bringing with her a rich collection of experiences, memories, challenges and moments of joy.  Her work is an exploration of these experiences through the intuitive and expressive language of abstract painting.

Rather than attempting to recreate what she sees, she uses, color, movement, texture and form to translate what she feels.  Each painting becomes a visual reflection of life itself--its uncertainty and challenges, its unexpected beauty and the importance of remaining present for the moments that bring joy.
